FATF makes decisions on political grounds: Hungarian Foreign Minister

ISLAMABAD: The Hungarian Foreign Minister has said that the FATF makes decisions on political grounds.In a news conference with Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Suharto at the Foreign Office in Islamabad, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that under economic diplomacy, the business community of the two countries met and reached several agreements, including on cyber security. The FATF should be used against money laundering and terror financing, the FATF should not be used for political purposes.Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that Hungary will spend 84 84 million to promote investment in Pakistan, Hungary is launching direct flights operation for Pakistan, this is the second foreign minister who questioned the FATF.
