Junaid Riaz: Pakistan Alliance of Independent School has expressed fears that the children’s year will be wasted if the school does not open on September 15. According to SOPs, calling half of the children on one day and the rest on the next day can reduce the educational loss.

According to details, a provincial education conference organized by Pakistan Alliance of Independent Schools was held at Gulberg Park Lane Hotel in which a large number of leaders of representative organizations representing private schools across the province participated.  He said that protests were not the solution to the problems and educational institutions should be opened in phases with strict SOPs from September to save the children from wasting their academic year. Patron in Chief Pakistan Alliance of Independent Schools Qazi Naeem Anjum Private school owners said that the government should announce a big package for the survival of private schools and also reduce the utility bills and taxes of schools.

Chairman Mian Raza-ur-Rehman, General Secretary Javed Norta Mabra also discussed issues related to elimination of child labor, promotion of non-formal education, uniform education system, teacher training and registration of schools.
