Govt Announces 4 Holidays for Eid-ul-Fitr 2022 in Pakistan

Many Pakistanis were waiting for the notification for Eid-ul-Fitr holidays. So Finally the government has decided to announce a four-day public holiday for Eid-ul-Fitr this year.

From the cabinet the official sources share that the federal cabinet has finalized four (04) holidays, from Monday, 2 May 2022 to Thursday, 5 May 2022, for Choti Eid.

All the male and female Pakistanis waiting for an official notification which is likely to be issued on Wednesday.

PTV News share on broadcast about these Eid Holidays, the Interior Ministry put a file as a summary for three (03) public holidays implemented for all the Government and Private Sectors on Eid. But there is a good news for all of you, The Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif approved four (04) holidays for the religious festival.


Govt Announces 4 Holidays for Eid-ul-Fitr

As there will be 5 consecutive holidays this year, so public offices will not operate on Sunday. It is therefore a good news for all the government employees enjoy eid with big package. So just 2 days working from Friday, 6 May 2022, and Saturday, 7 May 2022.

For the time being, starwatchers have prophesied that the month of Ramadan will have 30 days, as the Shawwal moon is not as much of chances to be keen-sighted anyplace in the country on the evening of 29 Ramadan (Sunday, 1 May).

But finally IN SHA ALLAH eid will be observed dated 03 May 2022 (Tuesday).
