According to the Higher Education Commission, undergraduate scholarships are now available for students from the coastal region of Balochistan. Outstanding students from the Balochistan districts of Gwadar, Lasbila/Hab, Kech (Turbat) and Awaran are encouraged to apply for undergraduate programs in public or private universities or degree awarding institutions (DAs) recognized by HEC. Submit applications if intending to take admission. Scholarships are available in all fields of study and subjects through the project titled Pakistan “Coastal Region Higher Education Scholarship Program for Balochistan”.

HEC Undergraduate scholarship for Balochistan 2023 [Coastal Regions] Last Date to Apply

Applications can be submitted online. Application must be submitted by May 29, 2023.

Eligibility Criteria for Balochistan Students of Coastal Region Scholarship

Applicant must have domicile or locality certificate of Gwadar, Lasbela Hub, Kech (Torbat) or Awaran districts of Balochistan. The applicant must have completed 12 years of schooling with a minimum of 50% in both their Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) and Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or its equivalent in both these examinations.

The applicant must have graduated from one of the colleges or institutions in four designated districts of Balochistan, namely Gwadar, Lasbela/Hab, Kech (Torbat) and Awaran, with both Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary School Certificate. HSSC) or its equivalent.

Students enrolled in any BS program in more than one academic year or pre-ad session may also apply.

The last date sets a maximum age of 22 years.

Applicants must meet HEC and University requirements for admission to the BS programme.

Important reminder

As per PC-1, scholarships will be awarded on the basis of merit and district quota.

Shortlisted candidates will be selected on the basis of their educational qualification and the result of the aptitude test conducted by HEC.

In the HEC test, candidates must secure at least 50% of the possible marks.

The online information/data of the scholarship recipients will be used to compile the merit list. However, if there are any mistakes, errors, or omissions, the scholarship may be terminated at any time.

How to Apply for Scholarship in Balochistan Coastal Region through [scholarships.hec.gov.pk]

Applications should be submitted online at HEC website https://scholarships.hec.gov.pk. At this time, hard copies of applications and other documents are not required.

Application processing fee of Rs.500 to be deposited in Habib Bank Limited Account No: 1742 7900 1334 01 (Non-refundable). The account title is Higher Education Commission, Branch Code: 1742. The applicant should upload the original bank payment record or slip along with his online application and save a copy to be produced at the testing facility (no one can appear for the test without producing the original bank deposit slip). will not be allowed) After completing the application form, the candidate has to submit the application online. Saved and incomplete applications will not be entertained in any way.
