Inter provincial Education Ministers meeting held today 2021
The decision to open educational institutions was taken at the Provincial Education Ministers Conference. The government announced to open ninth to twelfth grade from January 18, schools from nursery to eighth grade from January 25 and universities from February 1.
According to details, the inter-provincial education ministers’ conference, chaired by Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood, started at 11:30 am today. Education Ministers from all over the country participated through video link. Provincial Chief Minister of Punjab Raja Yasir Humayun and Dr. Murad Ross also participated in the conference.
Inter-Provincial Ministers of Education Conference, chaired by Shafqat Mahmood, decided to open universities from February 1. Universities were announced to open in February, the decision to open educational institutions was taken on the basis of health advisory, provincial education minister Murad Ross said, adding that children were suffering a great deal of educational loss and low-fee private schools had begun to close.
Earlier, media reported that educational institutions across the country are likely to be opened in phases from January 25. The federal government has proposed to open educational institutions in three phases. In the first phase, primary schools were proposed to be opened from January 25. It was proposed to open the institute and conduct examinations across the country in late May to early June.
It is to be noted that the organization of private schools has announced to open educational institutions from January 11. The All Pakistan Private School Management Association has prepared an affidavit regarding the opening of schools against government orders from January 11.
All Board exams have been postponed to May June. Let me emphasise that this year nobody will be promoted without exams
