IPL postponed due to increasing cases of Corona in India

New Delhi: The Indian Cricket Board (ICB) has announced the postponement of the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the time being following the rise in Corona cases.According to media reports, four players and three staff members have tested positive in the last two matches, after which the rest of the IPL matches have been stopped immediately by the organizers. An announcement of new dates and locations is expected soon.It is to be noted that till a few days ago, the officials of the Indian Cricket Board were claiming that the bio-bubble prepared for the IPL is the safest place in the world, where Corona cannot enter.
