KPK Government School Teachers Promotion

The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) has announced a major scale promotion for school teachers in the province. A total of 130,000 school teachers will be promoted to higher cadres as part of the government’s efforts to improve the education system in KPK.

The upgradation will see teachers being promoted from grade to grade. This move is expected to not only benefit the teachers but also improve the overall standard of education in the province. However, as per 4 grade formula, KPK government will promote 5000 school employees from grade 17 to 20.

The promotion process will be carried out in several steps, starting with the verification of the teachers’ credentials and qualifications. Once the verification process is complete, the teachers will be promoted according to their seniority and performance.

As per ESED KPK notification, KPK will implement all upgradation in scales from 01 July 2023. However, below, we have specified the upgraded scales according to which teachers of different cadres will be promoted.
