May 1st, along with the usual Monday, Saturday and Sunday holidays, will be a great day for people and families to get away and take a break from the weekly routine. Some people may travel for up to three days, while others may rest for one day during their journey. However, many people will use these holidays as an opportunity to relax and de-stress from their busy weekly schedules.

All educational institutions including colleges, universities and schools will remain closed on May 1. Apart from this, all offices and banks will also remain closed. Educational institutions have already started announcing May 1st 2023 holidays to students and their parents.

By the way, May 1, also known as Labor Day, was earlier included in the list of school and college holidays for 2023, as well as the list of public holidays applicable to banks, companies and other institutions.
