How to Caculatre MBBS MDCAT Aggregate of Matric and Fsc
Merit of MBBS or BDS applicants who want to get a seat in their desired medical colleges does not depend only on MDCAT. The policies changed, and the score depends on FSc (Intermediate) and MDCAT. To know how many marks you got in total, first, you need to know the weightage of each section. For example, if an institution is considering MDCAT, FSc, and Matriculation, you need to know the percentage of each section.
Aggregate FSc will give students a target. They have to achieve this goal. In this way they can get a seat in the desired college.
MDCAT Aggregate Division Formula is:
- MDCAT = 50%
- FSc or A-levels = 50%
MDCAT Marks Division for Aggregate
MDCAT Marks Division is very important to understand better how to prepare for MDCAT. This will give you an idea of how much effort you should put into your aggregate in each subject. Mark distribution of MCQs or subject number is given below:
- Biology = 68 MCQs
- Chemistry = 56 MCQs
- Physics = 56 MCQs
- English = 20 MCQs
- Logical reasoning = 10 MCQs
Earlier, each MCQ carried 5 marks, and getting a question wrong reduced 6 marks. But now, each question carries 1 mark, and no negative marking is carried. The new policy now tests your nerve and logical reasoning ability through the logical reasoning section.
How to Calculate MBBS MDCAT Aggregate
MDCAT Aggregate Calculation is very easy to check. So here is the formula mentioned below:
- Formula A: (Marks obtained in Intermediate / Total Marks in Intermediate) x 50
- Formula B: (Marks obtained in MDCAT / Total marks in MDCAT) x 50
So students can use it by adding the percentages from both formulas, and you’ll get your total. If you want to include your matriculation numbers, you can rearrange the formula to match the new policy. If you still feel difficulty then you can ask us through comment section.
- Formula A: (Marks obtained in Intermediate / Total marks in Intermediate) x 50
- Formula B: (Marks obtained in MDCAT / Total marks in MDCAT) x 40
- Formula C: (Marks obtained in Matric / Total marks in Matric) x 10
Add them all up to calculate your total.
