Muharram official holidays 2022 in Pakistan for Month of August
The Cabinet Division of the Government of Pakistan has issued a two-day public holiday notification on the occasion of Ashura which can be viewed here. According to this latest notification, the Prime Minister has approved public holidays on 9th and 10th of Muharram. Therefore, all public and private sectors will be closed for Ashura on 8th and 9th August 2022 (Monday and Tuesday).
