On the other hand, 3360 posts of heads are vacant in schools across the province. There are 2300 vacancies in Grade 17, 590 vacancies in Grade 18, 600 vacancies in Grade 19 and 170 vacancies in Grade Base. There are 65 vacancies for school heads in Lahore. Has 15 vacancies.
Punjab Scholars Union President Akram Sial said that due to vacancies of the heads, the administrative affairs of the schools have come to a standstill. He said that there are 35,000 M.Phil Ph.D teachers in Punjab. He said that the vacancies should be filled. He said that the vacancies should be filled by March 23 otherwise they would protest.
