NAB inquiry against Overseas Pakistani closed after 4 years, Islamabad High Court angry
ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has closed its inquiry against Overseas Pakistanis after four years.According to Express News, the NAB inquiry against Overseas Pakistani who invested crores of rupees in Pakistan has been closed after 4 years.
Overseas Pakistani Raja Zafar Abbasi invested Rs 74 crore on which NAB had started an inquiry.
ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has declared NAB Pindi’s action against Overseas Pakistani illegal and blamed the NAB’s action on the lack of confidence of foreign investors.
The court said that NAB action against Overseas Pakistani investor without evidence is malicious, NAB officials confused Overseas Pakistani for three years and finally closed the inquiry, NAB officials took action against Overseas Pakistani.
