Pakistani doctor honored for outstanding performance during corona epidemic in Saudi Arabia
On the occasion of Saudi National Day, the Saudi Ministry of Health awarded Dr. Shehzad Ahmed Mumtaz of Pakistan with the Best Leadership Award and presented certificates of appreciation for his outstanding performance in the kingdom during the Corona epidemic. According to Arab media, Pakistani doctor Shehzad Ahmed Mumtaz is in charge of the intensive care unit at King Salman Hospital and is also leading the medical team fighting coronavirus-related disease COVID-19. Dr. Shehzad’s team against epidemics has done a remarkable job in eradicating the rising mortality rate from corona in the hospital and succeeded in making the hospital the first corona free hospital. The Saudi Ministry of Health also presented him with the Best Leadership Award and Certificate of Appreciation during a ceremony held on the occasion of Saudi National Day. Dr. Shehzad Ahmed Mumtaz from Layyah, a backward area of South Punjab, arrived in Saudi Arabia 18 years ago and took up the post of ICU in-charge at King Hospital, fulfilling important responsibilities in various hospitals.
