1. Eligibility Criteria for 158 PMA Long Course
According to the official requirements, here is who can apply:
- Age Limit (as of Nov 01, 2026):
- Intermediate (FA/FSc): 17-22 Years (3 months relaxation).
- Graduates (2 Years): 17-23 Years.
- Graduates (4 Years BS/BBA): 17-24 Years.
- Serving Army Soldiers: 17-25 Years.
- Academic Prerequisites:
- Minimum 60% marks in FA/FSc.
- Candidates with 50% in FA/FSc can apply if they have 60% in BA/BSc (Hons).
- Hope Certificate: Students who gave FSc Part-II exams can apply with a 60% Hope Certificate from their head of institution.
- Physical Standards:

2. Registration and Preliminary Selection Procedure
Candidates can register either through the Internet or by visiting Army Selection and Recruitment Centres (AS&RCs).
- Registration through Internet: Visit www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk. After successful registration, you will get an exam slip within 5-7 working days.
- Preliminary Tests:
- Written/Intelligence Test: Multiple choice questions from English, Maths, Pak Studies, Islamiat, and General Knowledge.
- Physical Test: * 1.6 Km Run (8 minutes).
- Push Ups (15 repetitions in 2 mins).
- Sit Ups (15 repetitions in 2 mins).
- Interview: Candidates who clear the written and physical tests will be interviewed by the S&RO and Psychologist.
User Guide: Intelligence test ke liye computer ki basic knowledge hona zaroori hai kyunke test computers par hi hota hai. Interview mein 20 marks hote hain aur 12 marks lena lazmi hai.

You cannot apply if:
- You have been Twice Rejected by ISSB.
- Twice failed in Initial Tests (Intelligence/Academic).
- Permanently declared UNFIT by Appeal Medical Board.
- Tested within 120 days of previous ISSB appearance.
- Dismissed from any Government service.
