HEC Postgraduate Scholarship 2022 for Balochistan & FATA Candidates

Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced applications for Post Graduate Scholarship 2022 for candidates from Balochistan and earlier FATA. Therefore, outstanding students from Balochistan and FATA who want to take admission in MS/M. Phil degrees from national universities can apply for the scholarship. HEC will provide scholarships to candidates in all fields of study for 2022-23.

However, HEC offers postgraduate scholarship through a project called “Providing Higher Education Opportunities to Students of Balochistan and FATA (Phase-II) Batch-V”. Eligible candidates can apply online through HEC website. The closing date for the HEC Postgraduate Scholarship is 19 December 2022.

  • Candidates who wish to apply must be resident or domiciled in Balochistan/First FATA.
  • Must have completed 16 years qualification with minimum 60% marks.
  • Age: 35 years (as on last date)
  • The candidate will not be eligible to receive any other HEC/Government scholarship already.

Postgraduate [PG] Scholarships 2022 Benefits

The post graduate scholarship for candidates from Balochistan and FATA announced by HEC will cover the following expenses.

  • Tuition fees and other charges including hostel charges (maximum Rs. 60,000/- per semester/year)
  • Rs.10,000 monthly living allowance with annual increment of Rs.500 for the second year
  • Book allowances Rs.6,000 per annum
  • Traveling Allowance Rs.5,000 per annum
  • Initial Settlement Allowances of Rs.10,000 (one time)

  • Visit the HEC website and apply online now for the scholarship hec.gov.pk/site/phobf Click Here.
  • Deposit processing fee of Rs.1000/- in HBL branch code 1742. (Account details are on note below)
  • Upload and submit the paid challan form on the portal along with the online application form.
  • Last Date: 19 December 2022
