A fee increase for the upcoming matriculation examination has been announced by all nine of Punjab’s Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISEs).
The schedule for regular and private candidates’ admission forms for classes 9 and 10 has been released by the Punjab Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education. The Punjab board has announced a schedule for the submission of admission forms by candidates who want to sit for the matric exams in 2024. The first day of the BISE Punjab Board Matric Exams is March 1, 2024.
BISE Punjab Board Matric Admission/Exam Form Schedule 2023-24
- Registration starts: November 15, 2023
- Last date with single fee: December 12, 2023
- Last date with double fee: December 26, 2023
- Last date with Triple fee: January 03, 2024
The boards announced in a notification that the previous Rs550 matric exam fee has increased by Rs150 to Rs700.
In addition to the application processing fee, they will be assessed additional fees from the sports, development, and scholarship funds.
In addition to the examination fee, students will also be required to pay Rs. 200 for the development fund, Rs. 80 for the scholarship fund, Rs. 100 for sports fees, and Rs. 530 for the processing fee, according to the official notification. Additionally, the cost of the admission form is set at Rs 100.

Punjab Matric Board Examination Total Admission Fees 2024
Following the increase, the total admission cost, excluding practical, is Rs 3,110 for regular science group students and Rs 3.010 for regular arts group students.
The cost of admission has increased to Rs 3,210 for students in the private science group and Rs 3,210 for students in the private arts group who are taking practicals.
December 12 is the cutoff date for submitting admission forms with a single fee. Afterwards, up until December 26, the boards will accept admission forms with a double fee. Three days only, from December 27 to January 3.
