Rains kill 25 more in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, houses, shops washed away

Mansehra / Pandadan Khan / Batgram: The torrential rains and floods across the country wreaked havoc while floods in rivers and streams destroyed standing crops and severely damaged roads and bridges.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, more than 25 people were killed and several others injured in landslides, roof collapses, floods and various accidents caused by torrential rains. Many villages near the rivers in Nowshera and Charsadda have been evacuated due to the flood situation caused by the rains while tourists are being evacuated.

Deputy Commissioner Nowshera Mir Raza has issued an alert in the area and directed the people living on the banks of Kabul River to stay away. Three persons have drowned in the flood relay of Swat River. The body of one of them has been recovered while the search for the other two is on. Among those drowned was a police officer.

On the other hand, the roof of a house collapsed due to heavy rain in Ogi Hussain Banda area of ​​Mansehra, as a result of which four persons Fazal Elahi, Muhammad Shabbir, Noor Islam and Bint Bibi were killed. Buried under the rubble.
