As the lockdown eased, record cases of Corona were reported in India in one day.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended the ongoing lockdown across the country till May 31, but he had announced easing of lockdown in areas with low corona cases.

According to Indian media, as the lockdown eased, 6,000 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours, the highest number ever recorded in a single day.
