September 7, 1965: Pakistan Air Force kills 31 Indian aircraft

After the outbreak of the 1965 war, India threatened Pakistan that it would spread the war to the entire eastern border. However, the enemy had to face humiliation on all fronts. On this occasion, China warned India of the consequences of the war. The Pakistan Air Force shot down 31 Indian boys in a single day, while the Pakistan Army gritted the teeth of Indian invaders who came to its territory and forced them to retreat, Squadron Leader MM Alam surprised the world by shooting down 9 Indian planes and even today this record is recorded with his name. 

MM Alam shot down 5 out of 9 aircraft in less than a minute. Maj. Gen. Akhtar Hussain Malik was awarded the Star of Courage for his outstanding performance in the Jodian sector, a tribute to the best performance of the Pakistan Air Force. Praising him, President Ayub Khan emphasized that only a referendum is the guarantor of peace in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Meanwhile, Punjab Governor Malik Muhammad Amir said that insha-Allah, the final victory in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir would be ours.
