The duration of these School Teacher Internees is 6 months with a paid reasonable salary which will be finalized at the end of this month. It is mainly to fulfill the emerging needs of the students in the style of Punjab CTIs.

It has also been decided to have temporary School Teachers Interns in Punjab schools with a monthly stipend from 18,000 to Rs 30,000 depending upon level (From Primary to Higher Secondary) for an initial period of 6 months. The department has sent a proposal to hire more than 20,000 temporary teachers in Punjab for higher and higher secondary schools, (6868 STIs will be hired in Phae-1) to the Chief Minister Punjab for the recruitment of STIs. STI Jobs 2021 Summary

The following is the major summary of the STI Program of the Punjab government of Pakistan.

A monthly stipend ranges from 18,000 to 30,000 PKR.
The total duration of internship for the same project is six months.
In Phase I, the total number of vacancies within the six districts of Punjab is more than 6868.
The Punjab Government’s STI project provides equal opportunities for both men and women.
Once the final selection is made, teachers will be assigned to their respective districts.

Eligibility for STI Jobs 2021,

• Candidates which reside at the same neighborhood /village panchayat council where school.
• School Council Recruitment Committee shall verify the residential status

• if an internee resigns or not willingly to join, the next candidate in the merit list shall be given the opportunity.
• This is a temporary job which can be terminated by the selection committee at any time due to unsatisfactory performance.
• The selected STI have to assure acceptance of internship letter to school within 7 days
• Two casual leaves per month are entitled however these are non-paid leaves.
• The placement is non transferable
• An experience certificate will be awarded after successful complete of his/her internship period.

Academic Criteria for STI Teachers

• Matriculation with the minimum of 2nd Division for Primary Teacher.
•  Intermediate the minimum of 2nd Division for Elementary Teacher.
•  Graduate (BA/BS/BSc) for Secondary and Higher Secondary School teacher.

Age Eligibility Criteria for STI Staff

Minimum age limit for male teachers for STI program is 20 years and maximum age limit is 50 years.
The minimum age limit for female teachers in the STI program will be from 20 years to a maximum of 55 years.
