Teachers Union demands not to open School

Punjab Teachers Union has demanded the government not to open primary and middle schools. Chairman PTU Sajjad Akbar Kazmi said that implementation of Corona SOPs for students from prep to VIII is not difficult but impossible.

Punjab Teachers Union says that primary and middle schools should not be opened. Corona SOPs are easy to create and no one implements them. Chairman Punjab Teachers Union Sajjad Akbar Kazmi said that in the current situation, the number of corona patients is increasing day by day.

General Secretary Rana Liaquat Ali said that people are not implementing Corona SOPs in markets, markets, shopping malls, public transport and roads. He further said that how can SOPs be implemented in schools? Students cannot be provided with daily masks and sanitizers.

If educational institutions are opened, a large number of students and parents could be infected with the corona virus and extreme heat. Doctors and experts are also pointing out the danger. If such a situation arises, it will be difficult to deal with.

On the other hand, 51 more people have died from Corona in the country so far, bringing the total number of deaths to 1334, while the number of patients has reached 64028 after new cases came to light. The highest number of deaths so far is in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. A total of 432 people have died in Corona, 396 in Sindh and 410 in Punjab. In addition, 60 died in Balochistan, 22 in Islamabad, 09 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 05 in Azad Kashmir.
