DETAILS:

Applications are open for teachwomeb emerging leaders program _spring 2022.

TECHWOMEN EMERGING program leaders are selected based on eligibility requirements below . Applications are reviewed by independent selection committees composed of industry leaders and leaded experts. Semifinalist may be interviewed by united States embassy personal in their country of permanent residence.

OUTCOMES:

TECHWOMEN EMERGING LEADERS will:

★challenge themselves with new questions and concepts .

,★Colaborate with like minded women in their fields on a innovative project.

★Network with influencial industry leaders.

★Discover their own innovative leadership styles.

★ Create meaningful friendship with women all over the world .

★Explore the diverse communities of san Fransisco baa area and Washington DC.

★inspire the next generation of women and girls in their home countries .

COSTS AND BENEFITS:

TECHWOMEN program will cover the following costs and benefits :

★Roundtrip international airfare from participants home country to the united States .

★domestic airfare from san Fransisco and Washington DC.

★ Housing in San Fransisco or sunnyvale, california during the mentor ship period

★Meals and incidents.

★Hotel stays in Washington DC

★public transportation to the participants host company .

★local transportation to group program events in San Fransisco Bay area and Washington DC.

Eligibility Requirements:

★be women at minimum two years full time professional experience in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math )field .Note that internship and other unpaid work experience does not count towards the professional two years experience requirements.

★have a minimum Bechlor’s degree/ four years university degree or equivalent.

★proficient in written and spoken English .

★permanent residence of Algeria, cameroon, egypt, jordan, kazakhstan, kenya, karghezistan, lebanon, libya, morroca, nigeria, Pakistan, the palestinian territories, ravanda, south africa, sierra leone, tajikistan, tunisia, tarkamanistan, uzbekistan or Zimbabwe at the time of application and while  participating in program .

,★be eligible to obtain a U.S J-1 exchange visitor visa

★Not have applied for and immigrant visa to United States (other than the diversity immigrants visa also known as  the “visa lottery ” in the past five years .

★Not hold a U.S citizenship or a permanent resident of U.S
