The IG gave good news to the fired police officers

Incumbent IG Inam Ghani has again sought the services of police officers expelled from Punjab in the past.According to details, IG Police Inam Ghani has again sought the services of those police officers who were recently expelled from Punjab on various complaints. DIG Munir Masood was expelled from Punjab by the former IG. Similarly, DIG Agha Muhammad Yousuf was also expelled from Punjab on various complaints. SSP Sajid Hussain was also surrendered from Punjab. Incumbent IG Inam Ghani has again sought the services of the three officers. Sources said that IG Punjab has planned to appoint the said officers to important posts in Punjab.

On the other hand, the shortage of additional IG rank police officers in Punjab could not be resolved. In Punjab, six additional IGs are less than the quota. A proposal to appoint senior DIGs to the post of Additional IG is being considered to meet the shortage of officers.

According to sources, the proposal to appoint DIG Jawad Ahmed Dogar, DIG Ghulam Mehmood Dogar, MIG Dr Masood Saleem and DIG Maqsood Al Hassan as Additional IG is being considered. The appointment of DIG to the post of Additional IG will fill the vacancies which will improve the administrative matters.
