In the second match, South African batting line-up returned to form, with Quentin de Kock, Temba Bauma, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and David Miller maintaining good run rates.

In response, the Green Shirts batted steadily but Fakhruzzaman played an extraordinary innings and maintained his hopes of victory till the controversial run-out in the last over. After that, on Wednesday, both the teams will meet again in Centurion for the decisive battle.

After the departure of the top 5 stars for the IPL, the Green Shirts had a golden opportunity to win the series trophy by defeating the weakening South African team. Fakhruzzaman, Imam-ul-Haq, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan are in good form in the top 4, Pakistan will be expected to score at least one of them a century.

In the third ODI, Eden Markrum, Temba Bauma, Reese Witherspoon and Henry Klaassen will have to bear the brunt of the batting. David Miller will be replaced by Kyle Verin, and the spin department will be handed over to Tabriz Shamsi.

The fast bowlers will be led by Andel Felquayo, who bowled well in the last match, along with Litho Sampala and Dupavilon, left-arm armor Byron Hendricks or Kesho Maharaj as the second spinner.Humidity in the morning on the Centurion pitch helps the pacers, so the team that wins the toss will prefer bowling, with rain predicted to interfere.
