The National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), part of the Federal Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, develops national policies, plans, strategies, and competencies for the TVET skill area, designs skills training programs, and is in charge of enforcement. To bridge the supply-demand gap, conduct accreditation, registration, and certification procedures, and develop skill standards and curricula. Apart from increasing national production by creating skilled labor with employment prospects, NAVTTC is also promoting the export of labor to other countries to generate valuable foreign exchange. Under the “Skill for All” project, NAVTTC has launched the fourth batch of the Prime Minister Special Youth Skill Development Programme. Both men and women can apply for these new government jobs in Islamabad and after successful completion of the recruitment process, they can be hired in Pakistan.
