Regarding the opening of schools, the provincial education minister made an important announcement. Dr. Murad Ross said that if the situation improves, schools across the province will be opened from August 15 and classes will be allowed in phases.

Provincial Minister for School Education Dr Murad Rass said that if the situation improves, schools across the province, including Lahore, will be reopened from August 15, but schools will not be allowed to conduct all classes at once. And twenty children will be allowed to sit in one class at a time, it will be strictly forbidden to sit more than that in the class.

When School Reopen in Punjab Pakistan

Dr Maras Ross said that the rate of coronavirus patients was going up and down and in such a situation the government could not take the risk of children’s health and life and therefore could not allow the opening of schools from July 15. Commenting on the LGS issue, Maras Ross said that a meeting was held on Monday with the affected students and their parents. He hoped that written requests would be received from the students on Monday.

When Universities will open in Pakistan 2020

On the other hand, preparations are being made to reopen the government universities which were closed due to Corona. In this regard, the Punjab government has prepared recommendations for the conditional opening of universities. In order to open the universities, the Vice Chancellors of the universities were consulted first, after which it was decided that the universities would be opened in phases from the first week of August, in the first phase, final semester classes would be held. Students of final semesters of BS, Masters, M.Phil and Ph.D. will be allowed and the rest of the students will also be allowed in the second phase.
