Eligibility criteria and terms & conditions for applicants
- Must be retired military officer from Pakistan Army, Navy, or Air Force
- Minimum rank: Major (Maj) or equivalent for Assistant Director and Deputy Director posts
- Minimum rank: Lieutenant Colonel (Lt Col) or Colonel (Col) or equivalent for Director post
- Age limits as specified: Director (55 years), Deputy Director (52 years), Assistant Director (50 years)
- Age calculated from the closing date of the application period (24 August 2026)
- Must possess original retirement order / discharge certificate from parent military organization
- Medical fitness certificate may be required as per PASB guidelines
- War Wounded Retired Armed Forces Officers receive preference in selection
- Candidates must be available for immediate posting at allocated DASB location
- No concurrent employment or business interest incompatible with government service
