The ad advises candidates to appear at the designated station on the specified dates and times. It does not tie a post or district to a venue, so pick the city whose days you can attend, and do not miss them: no second chance is listed.
Who can come: eligibility and age relaxation
- Domicile: vacancies are reserved only for candidates with a Balochistan domicile (a valid residence certificate of Balochistan is also named in the ad).
- Age is counted as on 16 November 2026. The age limits in the table already include the 5 years general relaxation.
- Extra relaxation (on top of the table):
- Candidates from Balochistan for posts BPS-15 and below: +5 years (Establishment Division O.M. dated 22.10.2026). By our reading that takes the upper limit to about 38 for Assistant and 35 for Stenotypist, UDC and LDC. Confirm on the ad before relying on it.
- Released or retired Armed Forces personnel: up to 15 years, or the years actually served, whichever is less.
- Government servants with at least 2 years’ continuous service: +10 years, up to the age of 55.
- Disabled persons (BPS-15 and below): +10 years.
- Widow, son or daughter of a deceased civil servant who died in service: +5 years.
- Serving government employees must apply through proper channel and bring a Departmental Certificate / No Objection Certificate (NOC). Without it they are disqualified.
What to bring to the walk-in interview
- Original documents: educational testimonials (degrees, certificates, marksheets) and your domicile / valid residence certificate of Balochistan.
- One set of attested copies of all documents.
- CNIC and recent photographs (sensible extras: the ad does not list them, but carry them).
- Proof of the IT course or typing/shorthand speed if you have it (Stenotypist and LDC posts).
- NOC / Departmental Certificate if you are a government employee.
All educational documents are scrutinised before the interview. Only candidates whose documents are complete and in proper order are allowed to appear. No TA/DA is paid for the interview. FBR may cancel the recruitment in part or whole, or increase or decrease the number of posts.
How selection works (no test)
- For BPS-11 to BPS-15, recruitment is through walk-in interviews only. No screening test or written test will be conducted.
- Reach the venue on your date between 10:00 AM and 03:00 PM, with the full file.
- Documents are checked first. Incomplete files are not interviewed.
- Interviews are held, and selected candidates are posted at FBR Headquarters, Islamabad.
This is a different route from our other Balochistan-quota posts, which need an online NJP application. We checked the National Jobs Portal Balochistan page on 30 October 2026 and these FBR posts were not listed there, so do not look for an NJP “Apply” button: the walk-in is the application. See our full Balochistan domicile jobs November 2026 list for the online ones, such as Auditor General of Pakistan jobs and NEPRA jobs.
Preparation tips: what we suggest
- Stenotypist: practise 80 w.p.m. shorthand and 40 w.p.m. typing. Expect a speed check at the interview (the ad does not say how speed is tested).
- Assistant, UDC, LDC: revise MS Word, Excel, basic office procedure, noting and drafting, and Pakistan general knowledge.
- Arrive early on the first day of your city’s slot and keep a spare photocopy set.
✅ Do / ❌ Don’t
- ✅ Check that your domicile is of Balochistan and that you meet the age limit as on 16 November 2026.
- ✅ Bring originals plus one attested set. Incomplete files are not interviewed.
- ✅ Choose the Quetta, Hub or Gwadar day you can truly attend and travel the day before.
- ❌ Do not pay anyone for a seat or “guaranteed” selection. The ad names no fee, no agent and no TA/DA. Official FBR contacts are in the ad: helpline@fbr.gov.pk, 051-111-772-772, www.fbr.gov.pk.
- ❌ Do not arrive after 03:00 PM or on a different date.
- ❌ Do not forget the NOC if you are already in government service.
