Check: 5 + 30 + 6 + 1 + 3 + 2 + 1 + 2 + 1 + 4 + 8 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 3 = 69. NJP shows the same seat number for every post. In the newspaper print the Corporal Driver figure is small and can be misread as 5; ASF’s own ad and NJP both say 6 (Dalbandin 2 + Panjgur 1 + Gwadar 3).
Which posts are open to women? Assistant Sub Inspector (1 female seat), Corporal (3 female seats), Cook and Sweeper (“male & female”). The other 11 posts are for men only.
Physical Standards and Test (ASI, Corporal and Corporal Driver Only)
These apply only to the uniformed posts: Assistant Sub Inspector, Corporal and Corporal Driver. Candidates for ASI and Corporal go through physical/medical test, written test and interview. Corporal Drivers go through physical/medical test and driving test (newspaper ad).

Honest note: the newspaper’s physical-standards box lists the “22 repetitions in 2 minutes” line twice (it may be push-ups and sit-ups). Our copy of the print is too small to confirm the second exercise name, so we list only what is clear. The ASF site banner and NJP give height, chest and weight, but not the run and push-up numbers, so those come only from the newspaper. Read the notes again at the test centre.

The walk-in window starts 10 days before the NJP closing date. We have not seen a published schedule that says who is called on which day, so apply as early as you can and keep your phone on.
Age Limit: 18 to 30 Years for All Posts
Every post shows 18 to 30 years, and the ad says 5 years of general upper-age relaxation are already included. NJP shows “Max age 30” for all 15 posts. On top of that:
- Other relaxations apply as per Government rules (armed forces, government servants, disabled persons, widow/children of deceased employees, as listed on NJP).
- Balochistan domicile holders get 5 years instead of the existing 3 years, “only for this special exercise” (ad term 4 and NJP job pages).
Honest note: the ad does not print one final maximum age after all relaxations, and NJP shows only “Max 30”. We did not see the Establishment Division notification. If you are over 30, ask the ASF helpline (021-99242578) which relaxation applies to you before you apply.
Eligibility and Who Can Apply
- Domicile: valid Balochistan domicile (compulsory for all 15 posts on NJP).
- Qualification: intermediate for ASI, matric for Corporal and Corporal Driver (plus HTV/LTV license), matric or middle plus a training certificate from a recognized institute for trade posts, primary pass for BPS-01 and BPS-02 posts. Where the table says “2 years experience”, keep experience letters ready.
- Government and autonomous-body employees: apply through proper channel after getting an NOC (ad term 3).
- Skill relaxation: for posts up to BS-16 that need trainable skills such as typing, shorthand or basic computer proficiency, the ad allows a one-time relaxation at initial appointment if no candidate holds the certificate; proficiency is assessed before confirmation (ad term 5).
- ASF may increase or decrease vacancies, cancel or withdraw the recruitment, or reject any application.

Physical Test Preparation Tips (ASI, Corporal, Corporal Driver)
These tips are our own, based on the numbers printed in the ad. They are not official ASF advice.
- Mile run: men need 7:30 or better, women 10:00. Practise a full mile on a flat track twice a week and note your time; aim a few seconds below the limit.
- Push-ups: 22 in 2 minutes for men. Train in sets and build to 30 in 2 minutes so test-day nerves do not cost you.
- Height and chest: you cannot change height, but stand straight when measured and practise a full chest breath for the 32¾ to 34¾ inch expansion check.
- Weight: the minimum is 48.1 kg (men) and 45 kg (women) on NJP; do not under-eat before the test.
- Eat light, drink water and sleep well the night before. Bring original documents and wear PT shoes.
What Is Not Confirmed
- Salary: not in the ad or on NJP. BPS-01 to BPS-11 pay follows the federal pay scale, and we did not confirm exact figures here.
- The day-by-day walk-in schedule and which posts are called when: not published in the ad.
- Whether the NJP application must be completed before attending a walk-in: confirm with the helpline.
- The final maximum age after all relaxations: the ad and NJP show only 30.
- Newspaper print is small. We checked every seat number and place against ASF’s own site and NJP; the run and push-up numbers come from the newspaper only.
- Establishment Division notification for the Balochistan special exercise: not seen.

- Start mile-run and push-up practice this week; wear PT shoes on test day.
- Serving government employees: get the NOC first.
- Share this with a young person in Quetta, Gwadar, Turbat, Dalbandin, Panjgur or Khuzdar.
Nahi karna:
- Do not pay any agent. No fee is mentioned in the ad. Anyone asking for money by Easypaisa, JazzCash or WhatsApp for an ASF “seat” is a fraudster.
- Do not apply without Balochistan domicile: the application will be wasted.
- Do not apply for a trade post without the required certificate and experience.
- Do not skip documents: missing originals or attested copies can cost you the interview.
- Do not trust fake WhatsApp groups that promise “direct appointment” or “list confirmed”.
- Do not expect TA/DA: none is paid for the test or interview.
