Quick answer: The Armed Forces Institute of Urology (AFIU), Rawalpindi has advertised 11 vacancies in 6 posts: Nursing Assistant (Female) BPS-07, Telephone Operator BPS-07, Ward Boy BPS-04 ×3, Aya BPS-02 ×2, Sanitary Worker (Female) BPS-01 ×3 and Sanitary Worker (Male) BPS-01 ×1. Both men and women of Pakistan can apply, as per regional quota. There is no online form: send your application with documents by courier to the Commandant within 15 days of the advertisement, which means about 12 November 2026 for the Pakistan Observer copy of 28 October.
Important: the ad prints “within 15 days of publication of advertisement in newspaper” but no calendar date. Count from the date you saw it in your own paper: 28 Oct (Pakistan Observer) gives 12 Nov 2026; a 29 Oct copy gives 13 Nov. Do not wait: couriers take days. Also note: afiu.org.pk lists “No openings right now” on its Careers page today, so the newspaper ad is the only official notice we could find.

The 6 Posts: BPS, Vacancies and Qualification
| # | Post | BPS | Vacancies | Qualification / experience (as printed) | Domicile |
| a | Nursing Assistant (Female) | 07 | 1 | Matric with science + 1-year diploma in Nursing Assistant from a recognized institute | Sindh (Urban) |
| b | Telephone Operator | 07 | 1 | Matric + skill in the relevant field | KPK |
| c | Ward Boy | 04 | 3 | Middle + skill in the relevant field | Local / Rawalpindi |
| d | Aya | 02 | 2 | Primary + skill in the relevant field | Local / Rawalpindi |
| e | Sanitary Worker (Female) | 01 | 3 | Primary | Local / Rawalpindi |
| f | Sanitary Worker (Male) | 01 | 1 | Primary | Local / Rawalpindi |
In plain words: “Primary” means class 5 pass, “Middle” class 8 pass, “Matric” class 10. The ad does not say how “skill in the relevant field” is proved (certificate, trade test or experience letter), so keep every skill or experience paper you have. Salary amounts are not printed in the ad: look up the pay of each BPS on the official federal pay scale before you decide, and do not trust figures sent on WhatsApp.
Domicile: Which Post Is for Whom
| Your domicile | Posts you can apply for | Vacancies |
| Sindh (Urban), woman | Nursing Assistant (Female), BPS-07 | 1 |
| KPK, man or woman | Telephone Operator, BPS-07 | 1 |
| Rawalpindi (local), man or woman | Ward Boy (3), Aya (2), Sanitary Worker Female (3), Sanitary Worker Male (1) | 9 |
Read this twice: if you live in Lahore, Multan or Peshawar city but do not hold Rawalpindi domicile, you are not eligible for the nine Ward Boy / Aya / Sanitary Worker posts. Only the two BPS-07 posts go to other regions (Sindh Urban and KPK). The ad does not say what proof of “local” is needed; the usual proof is a domicile certificate and CNIC address, but this is not confirmed by the ad.
Age Limits and Relaxations
| Category | Age limit |
| All posts (general) | 18 – 25 years |
| Scheduled Castes, Buddhist community, recognized tribes of Tribal Areas, Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas (federal posts): relaxed by 3 years | 18 – 28 years |
| Disabled persons | 18 – 40 years |
| Retired armed forces personnel | Up to 45 years |
- Age and experience are counted on the closing date of applications (term 1).
- A further 5 years general relaxation over the above is given as per government rules (Note a).
- If you qualify for relaxation in more than one category you get it in one category only, and you must attach proof (Note b).
Example: a general candidate aged 27 on the closing date is over 25. Whether the “5 years general relaxation” lifts the ceiling for ordinary candidates depends on the government rules the ad refers to; the ad itself does not write the final number, so treat it as not confirmed and ask on 051-5562331 if you are above 25.
Last Date: About 12 November 2026
The ad says applications must reach AFIU within 15 days of publication of the advertisement in the newspaper. It does not print a date. It appeared in Pakistan Observer on 28 October 2026, so:
| If you saw the ad on | Count 15 days to |
| 28 Oct 2026 (Pakistan Observer) | 12 Nov 2026 |
| 29 Oct 2026 (another paper, if printed that day) | 13 Nov 2026 (not verified) |
We could find no other official copy of the notice (the AFIU Careers page shows no openings), so the exact date is not confirmed. Safest plan: post your courier by 9–10 November so it surely arrives before the 12th. Applications received after the due date are not accepted (term 4). Test and interview dates are not announced: call letters are issued only after scrutiny (term 6).

How to Apply by Courier: Step by Step
Match your domicile and qualification to the table above. Many applicants lose their fee by applying for a post they are not eligible for.
The ad gives no form or online link. Write a clear application on plain paper (name, father’s name, post applied for, CNIC, domicile, age, qualification, address and mobile number) and sign it. The AFIU Careers page also offers “AFIU Job Application Forms”; whether that form is meant for this ad is not stated, so ask on 051-5562331 before you use it.
Buy a Pakistan Postal Order (from a post office) or a Bank Draft (from a bank) in the name of “Commandant AFIU Rawalpindi”: Rs 500 for Nursing Assistant or Telephone Operator, Rs 200 for each of the other four posts.
Attested photocopies of CNIC and academic documents, 2 passport-size photographs, domicile certificate, skill / experience proof and (if you claim age relaxation) the proof. Details in the checklist below.
If you apply for more than one post or category, send a separate application (with its own fee) for each (term 5).
Address it exactly as the ad says. Sample line for the envelope:
Armed Forces Institute of Urology (AFIU),
Rawalpindi.
Application for the post of: Ward Boy (BPS-04) | Domicile: Rawalpindi
Applicant: (your name), CNIC (number), Mobile (number)
Keep the tracking number and a full photocopy of everything you sent. Call letters for test / interview are issued only after scrutiny, and there is no TA/DA for attending.

| Amount | Rs 500 (Nursing Assistant, Telephone Operator) or Rs 200 (Ward Boy, Aya, Sanitary Worker Female, Sanitary Worker Male) |
| Deadline | Deposited “before expiry of last date” (term 11) |
| Never | Cash in the envelope, Easypaisa/JazzCash, or paying an agent. The ad names only these two methods. |

Karna / Nahi Karna

- Check your domicile against the post first: Sindh Urban (Nursing Assistant), KPK (Telephone Operator), Rawalpindi (the rest).
- Post by courier early: aim for 9–10 November.
- Attest all copies and attach 2 photographs.
- Use a separate application and a separate fee for every post.
- Keep a copy of everything and the courier receipt.
Nahi karna:
- Do not send cash or pay money through Easypaisa/JazzCash/WhatsApp, and do not pay any agent for a “seat”.
- Do not apply for a post that does not match your domicile: it will be rejected.
- Do not send one application for several posts.
- Do not attach fake or unattested documents: false information leads to rejection at any stage.
- Do not wait for the last day, and do not look for an online form: none is mentioned.
