Classes and Age Limits
The age is counted on 30 April 2027. The ad prints one age band per class:
| Class | Age on 30 April 2027 | Must have passed |
| VII (Seventh) | 11 to 13 years | Class 6 |

Eligibility: Who Can Apply
Rule for Class VII, VIII and IX: the candidate must have passed the class just below the one applied for (6th for VII, 7th for VIII, 8th for IX) and fall in the age band above.
Rule for Class XI: the candidate must be reading in Class 10, must have scored at least 65% in the annual exams of Class 9, and be 15 to 17 years old on 30 April 2027.
The ad does not say whether girls can apply, which provinces or domiciles are eligible, or how many seats there are. It only mentions a separate route for candidates applying on special quotas of other provinces: they can take the prospectus and form from Cadet College Karachi itself. Phone the college to confirm anything not printed.
Written Test, Medical and Interview
- Every candidate must pass the written test with at least 60% marks. (The number is small print in the newspaper image and reads as sixty per cent: confirm it from the prospectus.)
- The paper is taken from the Sindh Text Book Board books of Class 6, 7, 8 and 10 respectively (for entry to VII, VIII, IX and XI).
- After the written test, successful candidates are called again for a medical check-up and interview.
- The final merit list is issued after the written test, medical test and interview.
How to Apply: Step by Step
Contact: 0335-3941822 (for admission information). Website: www.cckarachi.edu.pk.
Official website check (25 October 2026): when we opened cckarachi.edu.pk it showed only a server error message (“Composer dependencies require a PHP version >= 8.3.0”), so we could not confirm the prospectus, test date or fee page on it. Everything above comes from the printed notice. Try the site again later or call the number in the ad.
What the Notice Does Not Say
The ad does not print: the test date and centres, the number of seats per class, the tuition and boarding fee after admission, or the syllabus beyond “Sindh Text Book Board books”. Do not trust anyone who quotes these numbers before the college publishes them.
Two warnings printed in the ad: (1) any recommendation (sifarish) for admission will get the application cancelled without giving a reason; (2) the Admission Committee may reject any form without giving a reason, and this cannot be challenged in any court.
Karna / Nahi Karna: Do and Don’t
✅ Karna (Do)
- Check the age on 30 April 2027 before you pay anything.
- Collect the form from the college office or the Meezan branches listed in the ad.
- Keep a photocopy of the form and the Rs 3,000 receipt or pay order.
- Submit well before 30 November 2026; the last days at bank branches are crowded.
❌ Nahi karna (Don’t)
- Do not pay anyone for a “guaranteed seat”: the ad says recommendations cancel the application.
- Do not send the pay order to any address except the one printed by the college.
- Do not apply without the previous-class pass (and 65% in Class 9 for XI).
- Do not assume a test date: none is printed.
