How to Apply Online for ICT Police Jobs, Step by Step
On 1 November 2026 we opened the public pages of the portal: the job list, the details page, Sign Up and Login. We did not create an account, log in or enter any data, so the steps after login are taken from the official ad and are marked “as per the ad”.
Go to npftas.pk (NPF-Testing and Assessment Services, National Police Foundation). The home page lists “Islamabad Capital Territory Police Job Opportunities – Executive Staff – 2026 (Dolphin Force)”, Published Sunday 1st November 2026, Last Date Sunday 15th November 2026. A public-notice pop-up may open first; close it. The ad also names www.islamabadpolice.gov.pk.
The details page lists the three posts, each with Age 18–25 and Fee 2000/-. Press Apply Now (it takes you to registration).
The Sign Up form asks for: CNIC without dashes, first name, last name, mobile number (03xxxxxxxxx), email, password and confirm password, plus the tick-box “I agree to the Terms and Conditions”. Use your own CNIC, your own active mobile number and email.
Use the Login page. As per the ad: give correct information; false information is punishable under Sections 420/468/471 PPC.
As per the ad: a fee challan is issued from the online application portal with a 24-digit PSID. Apply for each post separately if you want more than one (you pay for each).
Through any bank, ATM, internet banking, Easypaisa, JazzCash, U Paisa or TimePay (1Link / 1Bill). Keep the receipt.
As per the ad: the portal lets you select two test centres in priority order. The final centre is decided by ICT Police.
Do not wait for the last evening: portals get slow near the deadline. Take a screenshot of your confirmation.
Not verified by us: the screens after login (profile fields, how the post list and challan button look, the exact submit time on 15 November). We did not go beyond the public pages. Read every screen and the final review before you submit.
Fee: Rs 2,000 Per Post, Paid With the PSID

- Applications by hand, courier or any channel other than the online portal are not entertained, and no documents are to be sent in hard copy until the interview stage.
Scam warning: some unofficial websites ask for a “fee” of Rs 500 on Easypaisa to a WhatsApp number. The official ad names only the portal PSID. Never send money to a personal account, and never give your OTP or password to anyone.
Documents You Must Bring to the Interview
These are original documents, produced when called for the interview (not uploaded now, as per the ad):
- CNIC issued by NADRA
- Academic certificates
- Domicile certificate
- Two passport-size photographs with blue background
- Affidavit countersigned by the Deputy Commissioner, if you applied against the minority (non-Muslim) quota
- Affidavit about criminal cases (the format can be downloaded from www.npftas.pk / www.islamabadpolice.gov.pk). You must also tell the portal if you were ever involved in a criminal case.
Selection Process: Physical, Written/Computer Test, Interview
Height, chest, vision and the 1.6 km run. Wear joggers or suitable shoes and bring your own bottle of drinking water. Get yourself medically checked in advance from a government or district hospital; you are responsible for your own fitness.
Only those who pass the physical test are called. A candidate who fails any stage is disqualified for the next.
The Departmental Recruitment Board and its staff verify physical standards again at the interview. If a shortfall is found, you are disqualified. Higher qualifications are given preference at the interview stage.
Medical by the federal medical board / Civil Surgeon; character and academic verification. There is no TA/DA for any test or interview.
Important Rules From the Ad (in plain English)
- Provide correct information. False information can be prosecuted under Sections 420/468/471 PPC (imprisonment up to seven years).
- If you apply for several posts, you pass the physical test only once but pay each fee.
- Transgender persons can apply by CNIC gender; government employees apply through proper channel.

Not Confirmed (What We Could Not Verify)
- Exact test dates and centres: not in the ad; the portal shows them later.
- Salary: not stated. BS-14 / BS-11 / BS-07 are government pay scales; check the current federal pay scale chart.
- Whether an earlier application is valid: news sites reported earlier ICT Police rounds in June and August 2026 (with a different post count). This ad does not say that earlier applications carry over. Apply again on the portal if you are not sure.
- Official police website: on 1 November 2026 the Jobs section of islamabadpolice.gov.pk still said “No jobs, tenders, or auctions available at the moment”. The advertisement and the NPF-TAS portal both carry the post, so apply on the portal.
