Contract is not permanent: the Senior Registrar posts are for two years. The ad says they are “likely to be continued”, which is not a promise of regularisation. Only the two Pharmacology posts are advertised on a regular basis.
Eligibility: what the advertisement says and what it does not
The newspaper advertisement and the PDF on the LUMHS website (Advertisement/Criteria) are the same one-page notice. Neither prints the required degree, years of experience, number of research papers or age limit for these five posts. What the notice does state is:
- Applicants must hold a Domicile of Sindh Province.
- Copies of educational documents must be verified by the issuing authorities and attested by HEC.
- For a foreign qualification, an HEC equivalence certificate is mandatory.

How to apply (offline, by hand or post)

Get the form. Either buy it from the office of the Director Human Resources, LUMHS Jamshoro, by paying Rs 2,500 through a bank challan (National Bank of Pakistan, LUMHS Branch, Jamshoro), or download the form from lumhs.edu.pk and attach a Pay Order / Bank Draft of Rs 2,500 in favour of the Vice-Chancellor, LUMHS Jamshoro.
Use one form per post. A separate form (and fee) is needed for each subject / discipline, and the subject must be written clearly on the form. Applying for Senior Registrar in both Surgery and Medicine means two forms and Rs 5,000.
Fill every column. Use block letters. Write “N/A” where a column does not apply. Plain-paper applications and a CV alone are rejected.
Attach documents. Three photographs and two sets of attested copies (see the checklist below).
Deliver before 10 November 2026. The form with documents must reach the Human Resources Department, LUMHS Jamshoro within the due date.
Government employees. Apply through proper channel with a NOC, and send an advance copy of the form to the university before the last date.

- Quotas listed on the 2023 form: 2% disabled, 5% minorities, 10% women. LUMHS’s April 2026 criteria sheet lists 5% disabled, so confirm the current figure with the office.
