Driver, duties: drive the assigned official vehicle, daily inspection (fuel, oil, brakes, tyres, lights), arrange servicing and keep the vehicle clean.
Contract: 3 Years, Not Permanent
- The ad and NJP say: “This position is on contract basis for an initial period of three years, extendable based on performance and business needs.”
- So this is not a regular BPS government post. The grades are PTA’s own staff grades (SG-I and SG-III), not BPS scales.
- Extension after 3 years is not guaranteed: it depends on your performance and PTA’s needs.
- Salary, allowances and benefits are not printed in the ad or on NJP. Do not trust any salary figure shared on WhatsApp or Facebook until PTA publishes it.
Honest advice: if you want a permanent pension post, this is not one. If you want a 3-year job in a federal regulator with a Balochistan posting, it can be a good start, especially for the Driver and Naib Qasid posts where the education bar is only middle pass.

The ad table prints maximum age 40 years (no minimum). Note 4 of the ad adds: “all candidates will be allowed an upper age relaxation of five (05) years only for this special exercise.” NJP shows the same: Age limit 40, General age relaxation 5 years.
Not confirmed: the ad does not say the cut-off date for counting age, and it does not print “45” anywhere. The natural reading is that the practical upper limit is 40 + 5 = 45 years, but PTA has not stated it in one line. If you are between 41 and 45, apply but expect to be checked on this point.
