Count note: posts 1–10 add up to 99 vacancies (3+2+3+56+10+8+4+5+2+6) and posts 11–21 to 68 (2+14+1+3+2+27+6+4+1+2+6), so about 167 in all. Ad Hoc vs Permanent: What the Conditions Say

So if you are applying for a Junior Clerk or Junior Technician post, plan for a 6-month ad hoc job and the NTS test that follows. The driver, cold chain, attendant, Naib Qasid and similar posts are the permanent ones. This is our reading of conditions 3 and 7 and the opening line of the ad; ask the DHO office if you need it in writing.
Eligibility, Age and Domicile
- Residence: the candidate must be a resident of the State of Azad Jammu & Kashmir (open merit, State Subjects).
- Age: 18 to 40 years.
- Separate application for every post you want.
- Education: see the table. Many technician posts accept a 2-year diploma (or a 1-year diploma plus 3 years hospital experience) in a relevant field, with Matric Science (2nd division).
- Experience: for posts that need it, it must be in a government hospital.
- Documents: attested educational certificates, CNIC and other documents must be attached; originals are shown at the test or interview.

The last date for applications is not printed as a calendar date. The ad says the application and documents must be received in the office within 15 days of publication. The ad appeared on 29 October 2026, so count to about 13 November 2026, and send yours earlier. Complete applications that arrive after the last date are rejected immediately.
How to Apply: Step by Step
Check the table for BPS, qualification and experience. Remember posts 1–10 are 6-month ad hoc posts, posts 11–21 are permanent.
Write a simple application for each post. Attach attested copies of CNIC, AJK State Subject / domicile, educational certificates and degrees, diploma certificate, experience certificate (where needed), HTV / PSV licence (for drivers) and photographs.
Deliver or send it to the Office of the District Health Officer, Kotli (AJK) so that it reaches the office within 15 days of 29 October. The ad does not print an online link or address line we could read. Call the office or check the AJK Jobs portal for any online form.
