Who can apply for UET ADP Fall 2026
- Passed Intermediate (or equivalent) with relevant combinations and minimum 50% marks.
- Allowed groups: FSc Pre-Engineering, FSc Pre-Medical, ICS, and intermediate combinations of Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science.
- Punjab domicile is required unless a program says otherwise.
- Candidates who passed or expect to pass equivalent exams (other than Pakistani boards) must submit an IBCC equivalence certificate if selected.
- Non-Muslim (minority) candidates may also apply under the Minority Quota, subject to the admission rules and eligibility criteria.
Merit formula with an example
Merit is calculated on Matric and Intermediate Part-1 marks, combined weight 100%: 75% of Intermediate Part-1 and 25% of Matric.

Worked example (our illustration, not an official figure): Matric 950 / 1100 = 86.36%; Intermediate Part-1 800 / 1100 = 72.73%.
Merit = (72.73 × 0.75) + (86.36 × 0.25) = 54.55 + 21.59 = 76.14%.
Because Part-1 carries three times the weight of Matric, a strong first-year result lifts your aggregate more than a high Matric score.
How to apply for UET ADP Fall 2026 – step by step
Honest note: when we prepared this guide on 1 November 2026, admission.uet.edu.pk was not opening from our side (server error), so we could not capture live portal screens. The steps below follow the official advertisement; screen layouts may differ, so follow the on-screen instructions.
Intermediate with 50%+ in an allowed group, Punjab domicile, and your Matric and Part-1 marks ready.
Go to admission.uet.edu.pk. This is the only way to apply – applications sent by post, courier or by hand are not entertained.
Computer Science (Main Campus or P-6 Model Town), Data Science (Main Campus) or Artificial Intelligence (P-6 Model Town). You may apply to several programs.
Pay through the admission challan. One fee covers all programs – no extra fee for additional programs. The challan cannot be refunded or transferred once paid.
Fill in your details and marks, upload what the portal asks for and submit before 12:00 midnight on 24 November 2026. Do not wait for the last evening – portals slow down near deadlines.
The first merit list is displayed on Friday, 27 November 2026. Classes start on Monday, 7 December 2026.
Need help filling the form? Computer and printer facilities are available at the National Library of Engineering Sciences, UET Lahore, from 27 October to 24 November 2026, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm on working days, with a break for prayer. You do not have to visit the university – officials only guide those who need it.

ADP to BS: credit transfer
Graduates of UET’s associate degree can be admitted to the fifth semester of the undergraduate/equivalent BS program in the same discipline without any deficiency course. The minimum GPA, ECAT requirement, exemption of credits and merit calculation for ADP-to-BS students are published on the admission portal, so read them before you choose a program.
Rules and notes from the ad
- Application sent by post, courier or by hand will not be entertained.
- The admission challan, once paid, cannot be refunded and is non-transferable at any stage, whether utilised or not.
- Hostel accommodation will not be provided to students of these programs.
- The university may change policies whenever deemed necessary – check the website for updates.
- UET’s ad also highlights that financial assistance is available in different programs and that scholarships worth more than PKR 1.45 billion were awarded in 2025–26.

Fall 2026 vs Fall 2025 ADP: what changed
For comparison, the Fall 2025 ADP notice (reported by Result.pk) listed five programs – Computer Science, Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering and Data Science – with a 15 September to 13 October 2025 window. The fee was also Rs. 3,000. This year’s ad lists three programs and a later window (to 24 November). Always follow the current ad and portal.
