About Bakhtawar Cadet College for Girls
The ad calls it “the first female cadet college of Pakistan” and an equal-opportunity premier boarding institution dedicated to female youth empowerment. It states that the college was established under the patronage of the Government of Sindh and Pakistan Air Force. The college website lists five hostels and facilities such as a computer lab, English language lab, gymnasium and swimming pool, dispensary and a mosque. The photos in the ad show parades, swimming, shooting, sports and drill. The college also advertises staff vacancies from time to time – see our earlier post on Bakhtawar Cadet College jobs (July 2026).
Because it is a boarding college, admission here is not like a normal school. The college tests the girl in writing first, then calls shortlisted candidates for an interview and a medical examination.
Who Can Apply
- Education: the candidate has either passed Class VII or is studying in Class VIII now.
- Age: 12 to 14 years as on 1 April 2027. The ad adds that a 3-month relaxation shall be considered. As a rough guide this means a girl born between about April 2012 and April 2015 – confirm your exact case with the college before paying.
- Gender: girls only (this is a girls’ cadet college).
Entry Test Subjects and Syllabus
| Subject | Notes from the ad |
| English | Written test |
| Mathematics | Written test |
| Urdu / Sindhi | Written test |

The syllabus is the Sindh Text Book Board syllabus of Class VII. So revise your Class VII books of the Sindh board, not Class VIII, and practise all four subjects. The ad does not give the number of questions, marks or test time.

Entry Test Centres
- Shaheed Benazirabad (Nawabshah)
- Hyderabad
- Sukkur
- Lahore / Okara (printed together in the ad)
After the Test: Interview and Medical
Girls who qualify the written test receive a letter for the interview and medical examination. The ad does not give the passing marks or the dates of these two steps.
Last Year vs This Year
For comparison, a third-party news site (Result.pk, unofficial) reported the earlier Class VIII round with the application deadline on 17 January 2026 and the entry test on 1 February 2026, in the same four cities. This year’s ad gives 16 January 2027 and 5 February 2027. The pattern is similar, so start early, but always follow the current ad.
What the Ad Does Not Tell You
- Tuition, hostel or boarding fees
- Number of seats in Class VIII
- Test duration, number of questions and passing marks
- Dates of the interview and medical
- Exact documents to attach (see the prospectus)
- Scholarship or concession details
For these, call the college or read the prospectus. We have not guessed any of them.
